ABOUT H2OT

What is H2OT Allied Health?

H2OT Allied Health are a Paediatric Occupational Therapy provider of home, community and aquatic based therapy. H2OT services the Sunshine Coast and North Brisbane. H2OT strive to empower young people through a Neuroaffirming framework. We adopt a Neurodevelopmental approach to therapy ensuring connection is at the forefront of all our therapy goals and session plans.

H2OT actively engages and collaborates with your child’s treating team to ensure we are providing meaningful, goal orientated therapy. When we are having fun and laughing there is a high chance we will see skill development as the child feels connected and safe, allowing for cortical activation. For some children foundational skills may be underdeveloped or ineffective therefore focusing on core foundational skills such as connection, joint engagement, sensory integration, motor planning and postural stability (for example), can enable bigger goals to be achieved.
