DIRECTOR | OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Samantha Harris

Sam is no stranger to the Sunshine Coast, having completed her Occupational Therapy degree at the UniSC (many moons ago). Sam has travelled and worked all over Australia and overseas but family and friends drew her back end of 2021.

Sam has always dreamed of connecting her love for the water with her love for OT and in July 2022 this dream became a reality. At the same time as starting a business Sam welcomed her gorgeous furbaby, Wesley, into her life. Yes, some would say that was a little silly but Wesley is the best and absolutely loves coming to sessions.

Sam brings years of diverse experience and a love for dry skin, wet hair and pruney fingers. Sam strives to provide neuroaffirming and client centered care to her clients by continually engaging in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
Fun facts about Sam:
Has a crazy obsession with novelty earrings
Is addicted to coffee (skim milk vanilla latte if you wanted to know)
Loves watching trashie shows like Below Deck, Selling Sunset and Ru Pauls Drag Race
Cotton Tree is Sam’s favourite place on the coast. She loves getting take away fish and chips, opening a cold bottle of wine and having a laugh with family and friends while the sun goes down.

LEVEL 2 THERAPY ASSISTANT

Nikki Helion

My name is Nikki and I am a Therapy Assistant with H2OT Allied Health. I am currently studying Occupational Therapy and am in my 3rd year at UniSC. When I am not working I enjoy going to the beach, spending time with my friends and going to the gym. I have experience within the disability sector as I was previously working as a support worker. Paediatrics and child development are current areas of interest and one day I would like to make an impact within the OT field to increase recognition and awareness of the profession.

Fun facts about Nikki:
Nikki is a massive dog lover! She’s the type who will stop mid-conversation just to pet a dog (and we don’t blame her!)
Enjoys her “hot girl walks” with headphones in, feeling good, and soaking in the sunshine
She’s ready to pack her bags and explore the world with a bucket list full of exciting destinations!
Her favourite TV show is The Office (American of course!). She appreciates a good Jim prank or Michael mishap – it’s her kind of humour!
